Mission / Scope

Advancing robot learning as a robotics discipline.

The IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Robot Learning supports research on robots that learn from data, experience, humans, simulation, and deployment. The TC helps coordinate workshops, mentoring, resources, and community activity across IEEE RAS.

Robot learning connects methods to machines.

Our scope includes learning for control, perception, interaction, adaptation, evaluation, and embodied intelligence in physical and simulated robotic systems.

What We Do

A practical structure for community activity.

Workshops & Events

Coordinate workshops, tutorials, meetups, panels, and calls around robot learning topics at IEEE RAS venues.

Community & Mentoring

Support student and early-career participation through mentoring, networking, and community activities.

Resources

Collect useful datasets, benchmarks, tutorials, software, reading lists, and lab links for the field.

IEEE RAS Coordination

Connect robot learning efforts across IEEE RAS activities, publications, committees, and conferences.
